Position: Inventory Associate

Job type: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Salary: $9.25 - $9.50 per hour

Description: Impressions Online Boutique, www.shopimpressions.com, is hiring for full-time, part-time, and/or seasonal staff in our inventory/warehouse departments. Duties include checking merchandise for flaws, tagging and bagging clothing items, keeping the stockroom/warehouse tidy, processing orders for shipments, and other miscellaneous tasks.

Inventory experience is preferred. This position consists of data entry, new shipment processing, and other inventory tasks. Some warehouse duties will be assigned as needed. Applicants must be detail-oriented, have basic Windows computer skills, and possess time management skills.

General Responsibilities

The inventory/warehouse staff is responsible for the following tasks:
  • Processing new shipments efficiently and error-free in the inventory department.
  • Accurately and efficiently enter products using the in-house system.
  • Unpacking daily shipments.
  • Organizing clothing.
  • Maintaining excellent time management.
  • Locating items for customer orders.
  • Packaging shipments and sending out orders in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining effective communication with management and co-workers.

Qualifications & Miscellaneous Information

  • Applicants must live in Northwest Arkansas area.
  • High School Diploama is required.
  • We want individuals with the ability to multitask, friendly demeanor, great communication skills, and can write well.
  • Basic Windows computer skills
  • Lift 30-60 lbs.
  • Available for work between Monday and Friday, 7AM to 5PM. The office is normally closed on weekends.

Position: Graphic Design Intern

Job type: Full-time, Part-time

General Responsibilities

  • Work on design assignments as assigned by graphic designer such as creating social media content (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, emails, blog, etc.)
  • Assist in maintaining and developing website content across multiple platforms (mobile, desktop) with fresh, creative graphic work.
  • Enhance customer experience by providing appealing design work.
  • Advertising (print and electronic)
  • Email campaigns
  • Assist with Ad campaign creative content
  • Assist with in-house branding (internal documents, logos, etc)
  • Assist in archiving and organizing completed graphic work on the server daily
  • Assist during on location photo shoots, creative projects, and other miscellaneous creative department duties when needed.

Qualifications & Miscellaneous Information

  • Have a proficient knowledge and be extremely comfortable working in Adobe Suite (specifically Illustrator / Photoshop) and honor design best practices.
  • Have a basic understanding of web design concepts - simple CMS software (such as Wordpress), responsive layouts, image manipulation for web presentation, etc.
  • Have a well-rounded understanding of branding and marketing concepts. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interpreting data and statistics as it pertains to marketing.
  • Have a positive, team-oriented attitude and can comfortably call themselves a “self-starter.”
  • Live in Northwest Arkansas area. Work in our open office located in Springdale, AR during normal office hours (Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm).

Position: Studio Assistant

Job type: Full-time, Part-time

Impressions Online Boutique is hiring for a full-time and/or part-time studio assistant. We are growing our creative department and looking for studio assistants to join our amazing team! Applicants must have flexible scheduling from Monday through Friday with the availability to work 40 hours per work week (full-time) or 20-28 hours per work week (part-time). We are looking to hire applicants with flexible work availability between our office hours of 8am to 5pm and some after hours work when needed. There is an option for this to be a full-time, Summer internship from May 2019 through August 2019.

The studio assistant would help the Studio Coordinator/Stylist, creative team, and photographer before, during, and after photo shoots. The studio assistant is mainly responsibile for keeping the studio and all processes within the studio organized and efficient. He/she will work closely with and directly report to the Studio Coordinator.

Essential Job Tasks

  • Assist the studio coordinator and creative team with photo shoot (in studio and on-location) processes.
  • Assist the studio coordinator with marking up & preparing model shoot packets prior to each shoot.
  • Steam all clothing prior to shoots.
  • Prepare and organize studio for shooting
  • Check-in items daily as they are ready to publish on website.
  • Return accessories & denim that can be re-used for upcoming shoots to the studio, & and all other items to the warehouse to be checked in.
  • Ensure all items from the "Return To Warehouse" report are checked in on a daily basis.
  • Assist with post-shoot cleanup, scanning in model racks for the "shop the look", & preparing each model's photo shoot rack, so our creative manager can easily add all new items to the publish list.
  • Pull and unpack shoes from warehouse as necessary.
  • Remove tags from jewelry as necessary.
  • Pull any additional sizes of shoes, tops, etc. as necessary.
  • Ensure all shoes and accessories are accounted for before and after shoots in studio and on location.
  • Assist models while shooting in studio and on location. Approach models with the next outfit for a seamless transition between outfits.
    • * Studio & on-location photo shoots: always double check that each model is in the correct outfit. Assist models with zipping, hooking, buttoning, putting on shoes, etc.
  • Maintain a clean and organized studio.
  • Keep Jewelry and jeans organized. Keep counts of jewelry and shoes updated.
  • Remove unused hangers and clips as necessary.
  • Remove completed items from the studio, and place them on the corresponding rack outside the studio. Note and separate products that require color corrections.
  • Become familiar with Impressions branding.

Qualifications & Miscellaneous Information

  • 1 year or more of retail experience is a plus. Positive attitude and can-do mindset/work ethic. Enjoys staying busy at work, being part of a small business/growing team, and “wearing lots of hats.” Creative, outgoing personality and team player. Detail-oriented. Passionate about fashion. Time management. Ability to work with models (new and experienced) to make them feel comfortable in front of the camera. Excellent organizational skills and communication skills with creative department and other depts.
  • Full-Time Availability: 40 hours per work week. Part-Time Availability: 20-28 hours per workweek. Full-time and part-time work schedule would be normally Monday through Friday between our office hours of 8am-5pm (with possible after hours shifts and/or weekends as scheduled for photo shoots).
  • Paid Internship Opportunity, Full-Time Only: May 2019 through August 2019.
