What To Wear for Each Round of Sorority Recruitment

Sorority recruitment is an exciting time filled with opportunities to meet new friends and showcase your unique style. As you prepare to embark on this memorable journey, it's important to dress to impress! In this blog, we'll guide you through each day of sorority recruitment, offering stylish outfit suggestions to help you make a lasting impression.

Day 1: Open House/Conversation Round

On the first day of recruitment, it's all about standing out in a positive way. Most schools will give you a recruitment T-shirt that everyone will be wearing, so styling is important. Opt for a pair of cute shorts or a skirt. Consider wearing a pair of flat shoes, like sneakers, as well. You will be walking to all the houses and want to be comfortable. Make sure to accessorize with jewelry and be yourself! If your school does not require a T-shirt, most girl’s go for an athleisure look! These should be styled the same with comfortable shoes and stylish jewelry. Remember to wear something that reflects your personality while keeping it classy and appropriate for the occasion.

Day 2: Philanthropy Round

Philanthropy day is a great opportunity to show your commitment to community service. Make sure to talk about any past community service you have completed and find a way to personally connect with the sororities philanthropy. Your philanthropy outfit should be very similar to Open House if your school requires everyone to wear a recruitment T-shirt. Again, opt for a cute pair of shorts/skirt, comfortable shoes, and make sure to accessorize. If you don’t receive a T-shirt, you will want to wear a fun dress. One that you would wear to church or a first date. Pair it with some sandals or the same sneakers you wore to open house for the perfect look.

Day 3: Sisterhood Round

Sisterhood is when you should have about 4 houses left and are getting ready to make the hard cuts for preference round. You will get to tour the sorority and get to know the heart of the members. If you are required to wear a recruitment T-shirt, rinse and repeat the styling of the first 2 rounds. If you are not required to wear a T-shirt, you should wear a nice dress. It is not as formal as preference round but it is nicer than philanthropy round. Continue to wear comfortable shoes since you will be walking around the houses.
