Styling The Bump: The Non-Maternity Way March 06, 2015 14:54

Hey Loves,

Ash here again! I have a 24 week bump update for you, and some exciting new arrivals to share.
It was at some point between week 20 and 24 of my pregnancy where I went from no one noticing I was expecting, to full on belly rubs from complete strangers. Don’t get me wrong, I welcome the belly rubs whether you know me or not. I think it’s pretty amazing to see people so excited about my little girl.
That’s right, it’s a girl! Since I’ve last blogged and much to our surprise, we have found out that we are expecting a baby girl, and we have named her Everly Britt.

So much has changed in the past 24 weeks of my pregnancy; including my body which is changing, at this point, by the minute. As promised, I want to share some of my favorite outfits styled for maternity without purchasing actual maternity clothing. My bump style goal has been from the start to style outfits I can wear now and after my pregnancy, without investing in many maternity clothes. Let’s face it, they are the worst.

I want to start by getting down to the basics. Finding a good t-shirt might sound simple, but with a cute, growing-every-day bump, finding the perfect tee isn’t as easy as it sounds. Don’t fret, I have tried them all on and whether you are pregnant or not this tee is a winner in my book.

This tee is part of our new Exclusive Label (one of my pregnancy ventures). The fit of this tee is forgiving, and it has the length we need. It hugs only in the right places, and it’s the perfect length for layering with leggings or your favorite jeans. It was hand picked by me for you and all three colors of this tee-shirt are amazing.

Now, it’s my pregnancy obligation to tell you about the best maxi dress that was ever made. I mean it, I own this dress in almost every color. The great thing about this maxi is that it looks amazing with no bump, but then it magically grows with you as your pregnancy changes your body. I have a friend that is 35 weeks pregnant and the dress looks just as amazing on her as it does on our model that isn’t even pregnant. You can’t go wrong with this dress, it is your go-to option to make you feel beautiful every step of the way. Warning, will cause lots of belly rubs from strangers, and extra ohh’s & ahh’s...but who’s complaining?

The great thing about this option is it comes in so many different colors and patterns, all with the same amazing fit!

Here are some of the other colors that are tried, true, and owned by yours truly:

So I must sign off for now, but I hope I have given some of my fellow Moms-to-be some bump style inspiration. Just remember, you are beautiful and your style should be, too.
