Ready For Take Off: Behind the Scenes April 9, 2014 13:30

Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of our lookbook shoots? Earlier this week we launched our Ready For Take Off lookbook, filled with our favorite vacation styles for Spring. It’s no secret that putting together a shoot takes a lot of hard work, and this lookbook was no exception. Inspired by the 1950’s, our creative team spent weeks scouting the perfect location, doing model fittings, and styling and restyling. Of course, all the work is worth it to help y’all find your style inspiration!

For this shoot, we wanted to capture the beauty of Spring with bold, bright makeup and simple, elegant hair. Once again, our friends at Paul Mitchell the School in Northwest Arkansas helped us out with hair and makeup and did an amazing job glamming up our models!

Our Ready For Take Off Lookbook was shot at SkyVenture Aviation in Fayetteville, AR by the crazy talented Stephanie Parsley. When booking the shoot, we searched for an industrial (but interesting) location that would really make the clothes pop in the pictures.  It’s hard to imagine a better location for a “getaway” shoot than SkyVenture. Our models had a blast climbing in the planes, sitting on the wings, and playing pilot for the afternoon!
